Lifeboat "Richard and Nellie Hodgers" on the South Outlet Slipway at Sunderland. This boat, a 38 ft pulling lifeboat was stationed at Sunderland from 1894-98. At that time there were four lifeboat stations at Sunderland, all on the south side of the river/harbour.
