Prossers Opening, looking from Back North Terrace to North Terrace and sea. c 1930. Note house bridging alleyway. Thomas Prosser owned the Lord Seaham Inn (just off frame to the left of this photograph) in 1834, he was also listed as a builder, surveyor and architect. He disappears from my records sometime between 1844 and 1847.

Walker's Fried Fish Saloon, certainly Seaham but street not known, can you help? Almost certainly demolished in the mid 1930s and probably in the Back North Railway St, Back Henry St area. A Thomas Walker had a fried fish shop at 4 Back N Tce in 1910 but this is certainly not that address.
