Loco 21 was built at Seaham Harbour Engine Works in 1895 and taken over by the NER along with the Londonderry, Seaham to Sunderland line in 1900. Londonderry engines were dark green with orange coachlines. Rolling stock for passengers, lake red with gold coachlines. This was the last Seaham passenger engine.
