RNLB "Will and Fanny Kirby" 1963 - 1979. She was launched 46 times and saved 66 lives. This new lifeboat arrived at Seaham on 10/9/1963, was christened by the Marchioness of Londonderry 11 days later and left on the 24th of February 1979 when the Seaham Lifeboat Station was finally closed.

Seaham Lifeboat "Will and Fanny Kirby" in 1970. She arrived at Seaham on Sept 10 1963 and served until 1979. A 37 ft, Oakley class self righter she was driven by two 43hp Perkins deisel engines which gave her a top speed of 8.5knots. Photographer not known
