Seaham Hall School Holiday Camp built on the site of what is now Seaham Hall car park and recreation field, opened 1935, used by the military (American?) during WW2 then squatters moved in, living in squalour until the UDC provided heat and light and charged 5 shilling a week rent , known then as the Squatters Camp. Demolished c 1955
