Mill Inn centre foreground, St Cuthbert's catholic church behind. The long building to the right, backing onto Ambleside Avenue was the original church, a schoolroom and later the Catholic Club, now closed and soon to be demolished. The bungalow in front of this is built on the site of the old windmill which was demolished in 1959.
