The Regent Cinema at Grangetown. The feature film was Paul Newman in "From the Terrace" released in 1960. The Regent used to show films pretty soon after release so presumably the photo is dated in that year. The cinema was demolished in the 1960s for the erection of the new Fine Fare store later to become a fitness centre. Photograph and caption from Colin Clifford
