Stockton Terrace in Grangetown. The large building on the right is now St. Aidans Church Hall. Prior to that it was Grangetown Mission (See your picture SD018).The mission later moved to a small building in Ocean Road in Grangetown. The original Mission building became St Aidens Church until the new church was built in 1911.(St Aidens Church and the hall are now a grade 2 Listed buildings).Note the Sunderland & District Tramway tram travelling towards Ryhope.In your picture RY015 a tram on the same route can be seen turning past the old church school at Ryhope to travel on to Silkswoth & Herington. My Grandmother was on the tram which ran away and crashed on Botchy's bank at Silksworth (year unknown).
