A wonderful resource for local historians and family researchers. Pubs, trams, streets and buildings, family groups etc. etc. Arranged by district / subject and complete with a printable booklet itemising every image.

DURHAM RECORDS ONLINE Pay-per view database of census returns and parish register entries which began in Seaham and now includes data from all over the historic county of Durham. Over 50% of the material is unique to the website, quite unobtainable elsewhere unless you are prepared to search microfilms at Durham yourself. Founded by Seaham lads Tony Whitehead (The Londonderrys, Masters of Seaham and Mary Ann Cotton - Dead but not Forgotten) and George Turns in cooperation with American Holly Wanless Cochrane whose ancestors also hail from the county
